I guess the Academy’s overarching message this year is “PLEASE GO THE FUCK BACK TO THE MOVIES, PLEASE, IT’S MAGIC, PLEASE, LIKE BRAD PITT SAYS THE GOOD GARGANTUA NEEDS TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF TO DEFEAT THE BAD GARGANTUA, AND THE BAD GARGANTUA IS PIRATING MOVIES, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN?” Except, you know, $13 movie tickets.
